On Monday, we saw Tom at the Hand & Footprints ceremony of his good pal Will Smith in LA. Yesterday, Tom travelled to New York to be next to his pal Will again in the premiere of his new movie “I Am Legend” which opens this Friday. Entertainment Tonight spoke exclusively to Tom Cruise today at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood where his friend Will Smith’s hand and foot prints were immortalized in cement. Cruise was in attendance to show support for Smith and spoke to ET about their relationship. “I feel honored to know him and his family. When I get around him I feel inspired. We push each other and we need that. We share that same level of reality and commitment that we have to our craft and to our family. Its fun. Wherever Will Smith is, that’s where the party is!” Cruise tells ET he is even a fan of Smith’s music, “He is an extraordinary artist. When I was doing Born on the 4th of July, his music got me through that picture.” On if Smith could beat his wife Katie Holmes in a marathon, Cruise laughs, “Kate is fast! I said to Will, ‘she ran a marathon, we’ve got to see if we can’t run a marathon. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have found one way to spice up their marriage

Katie Holmes herself designed the family’s burgundy, cream and brown holiday card, Us Weekly reports exclusively in its latest issue. The card is being sent out on behalf of husband Tom Cruise, 45, their daughter Suri and Cruise’s adopted children, Bella and Connor, a source says. Interestingly, Holmes, 28, signed the cards “Kate,” which is how Cruise often refers to her. Holmes (who recently debuted this shocking new do) is also playing Santa this year: “Katie has kept her staff busy doing the shopping, and even had a different gift-wrap design for different categories: family, friends, business associates,” says the source.
